Investigation sparks ice rink air quality bill

The investigation found many rinks were either not testing for emissions, like carbon monoxide from ice resurfacers, or doing so incorrectly. lawmakers introduced a bill that would require rinks to install electronic air monitoring equipment.

25 facilities do not use cameras
2 facilities have cameras but do not record
3 facilities have cameras and record for 2 weeks

New Web-Based Communications System

Neisma began using a whole new website and communications system that should revolutionize the way we run our organization. Highlights include the following features:

Neisma news and information pages
Member only access area.
Email notifications
Online member database.
Customizable, online registration system.
Blast emails to select groups of members.

Neisma will be testing these new features over the next several months to evaluate the many ways the organization and its members can benefit.
